After the chaos at the school, Yuji is taken into custody by the Jujutsu Sorcerers, where Gojo tests his ability to suppress Sukuna. When Yuji successfully restrains the King of Curses even under extreme pressure, Gojo makes a radical proposition—either Yuji is executed immediately, or he can delay his death by consuming all of Sukuna’s fingers, ensuring the complete eradication of the curse. With no other choice, Yuji accepts the grim fate, stepping into the world of Jujutsu High.
Meanwhile, the Jujutsu higher-ups remain skeptical and demand immediate action against Yuji. But Gojo, believing in his potential, decides to personally oversee his training. As Yuji meets Megumi once more, he begins to understand the dangers of Jujutsu Sorcery and the heavy responsibility that now rests on his shoulders. His normal life is over, and an unpredictable journey begins.
Yuji Arrives at Jujutsu High
Yuji is escorted to Tokyo Jujutsu High, an institution that trains sorcerers to combat curses. This school, hidden away in Tokyo’s mountains, serves as a safe haven for those with cursed energy.
Upon arrival, Yuji learns that he must first meet the school’s principal, Masamichi Yaga, who will decide whether he is fit to join.
Meeting Principal Masamichi Yaga
The meeting with Principal Yaga is far from a typical school interview. Instead of asking formal questions, Yaga immediately tests Yuji’s resolve. He summons animated cursed dolls to attack Yuji, forcing him to fight while answering an important question: “Why do you want to be a Jujutsu Sorcerer?”
Yuji initially responds that it was Gojo’s idea, but Yaga rejects this weak reasoning and increases the intensity of the test.
Yuji’s Resolve and Grandfather’s Last Words
Under pressure, Yuji reflects on his grandfather’s final wish, which was to ensure that he leads a life of meaning. He finally states his true reason:
I don’t want to regret how I live.
This sincere response satisfies Yaga, who finally accepts Yuji as an official Jujutsu High student.
Introduction to Megumi and Nobara
After his acceptance, Yuji is introduced to Megumi Fushiguro (whom he met earlier) and a new classmate, Nobara Kugisaki, a fiery and strong-willed sorcerer.
This marks the formation of Jujutsu High’s first-year trio, setting the stage for their missions ahead.
