Following the events of the first chapter, Yuji Itadori finds himself in a precarious situation after ingesting the cursed finger of Ryomen Sukuna. He is taken into custody by the Jujutsu authorities, who view him as a potential threat due to Sukuna’s presence within him.
At the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical School, Yuji meets Satoru Gojo, a powerful and enigmatic Jujutsu Sorcerer. Gojo informs Yuji that, due to the severity of his situation, the higher-ups have decreed that he should be executed to prevent Sukuna’s resurrection. However, Gojo proposes an alternative: postpone the execution until Yuji consumes all of Sukuna’s fingers, thereby allowing them to eradicate Sukuna completely.
Yuji is faced with a monumental decision. He reflects on his grandfather’s dying wish—to help others—and decides to accept Gojo’s proposal. This choice sets him on a path to join the Jujutsu Sorcerers, aiming to locate and consume the remaining cursed fingers to ultimately eliminate Sukuna.
The chapter concludes with Yuji’s formal enrollment into the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical School, marking the beginning of his training and his commitment to the perilous mission ahead.
